Each year, in conjunction with our Annual Feast, we give out the Thomas Vendituoli Faith in Action Award. This honor is for a young person of our parish 30 years of age or younger who displays the qualities of putting faith into action that so defined the life of our beloved Tom Vendituoli. This years winner is a member of a very active family in our parish. She is 17 years old and received all her sacraments here at OLMC in Bristol. She has two brothers 1 sister. She went to our school and was an altar server for many years She has been on two of our Mission Trips to the Mustard Communities and Orphanages in Jamaica and Nicaragua. She along with 19 other young people are anxiously awaiting the next trip that they have all raised the funds for and are just waiting for the day when Mustard Seed is open for our return. She is a senior at Mount Hope High School, works at Dunkin Donuts on Metacomet and will attend Montana State University to study psychology in the fall. Our Vendituoli Award winner this year is Katelyn Rensehausen daughter of Laura and Warren Rensehausen. Our congratulations to her on this honor and the great smile she brings to everything she does. The award is presented by Tom’s widow, Elizabeth Vendituoli, our parish trustee at the opening mass of our feast.
