As we make our final preparations for the annual Mustard Seed mission trip, we kindly ask for your continued prayers for all the missionaries. A rosary a day for the success of the trip, and for the safety of all those youth and chaperones that are traveling.
In addition, consider adding a small electric candle to your window to “light the way home”. It serves as a symbol of the continued support of so many, and may be a conversation starter for your neighbors to share all the great work we do here at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.
The missionaries depart early Saturday morning, see you soon!
To all those who had any part in preparing for, or participating in our annual parish feast, we thank you all very much. This was the most successful feast in the history of our parish. To all volunteers, enjoy a much deserved rest in the remaining weeks of summer!
Our parish community congratulates Father Phillip Dufour on his priestly ordination yesterday at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Providence. Please join us this afternoon at 2pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish where Fr. Dufour will celebrate his first Mass of thanksgiving. A reception will follow in the Msgr. Lolio Parish Hall!
