Faith Formation

Know Christ. Serve Christ. Be Christ.

Welcome to OLMC’S Faith Formation site. We invite you to take a few moments to learn about who we are and what we do.

Parents are the primary and most important teachers of the Catholic faith. As partners, we provide the support and means to help you in this most important endeavor.

Our goal is to put the students not only in touch but in communion, in intimacy, with Jesus Christ: only He can lead us to the love of the Father in the Spirit and make us share in the life of the Holy Trinity. (CT 5)

Our meetings are held on Sundays and consist of participation in mass followed by class time. Our wonderful teachers are volunteers from our parish and live in a way that supports the Church’s mission and moral teachings. All of us thoroughly go through a safe environment training program.

Preparation for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and Holy First Communion is a two year program. Students are required to complete first grade and will receive the sacraments in the second grade.

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is also a two year program. Confirmation is received in the ninth grade. All Candidates must complete eighth grade faith formation classes or in Catholic school.

Below you will find some additional information: our guidelines, our schedules, and a link to our registration form.
